Open the app and tap the location selector on the home screen. Type your town or district name to search. If your area is not listed, select the closest major district and contact us so we can add it.
Vota currently covers presidential and parliamentary elections in Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya. If your country or election cycle is not yet supported, we're actively expanding. Sign up for updates at the bottom of this page.
Tap any candidate's profile, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Report an issue." Our team reviews all reports within 48 hours. For urgent corrections, email us directly.
Vota's credibility rating reflects community verification and source reliability. A high rating means multiple users and our moderation team have confirmed the information against original sources. It is not a political endorsement.
Go to Accountability → Politicians → tap the + button. Fill in the name, role, and constituency. Your submission is reviewed by community members before it goes live — three confirmations are required.
Yes. Go to Settings → Download my area to save candidate profiles, promises, and news for your region. The Democracy Primer is available offline at all times.
Vota does not collect your name or email. To delete the anonymous device record associated with your app, email us with the subject line "Data deletion request." We will process it within 14 days.
